The Rolling Stones' iconic album, Voodoo Lounge, will have a special reissue on its 30th anniversary on July 12th. The reissue will feature a two-record set of the remastered album, with one LP in vibrant red and the other in striking yellow.
In addition to the standard reissue, a special edition will be available exclusively through the Stones' webstore. This edition will include a white 10-inch vinyl that features the four B-sides released on various CD singles in 1994 -- "I’m Gonna Drive," "So Young," "Jump On Top of Me," and "The Storm." These tracks, which were originally released as B-sides.
Originally released on July 11th, 1994, Voodoo Lounge marked a significant milestone in the Stones' career. It was their first album without bassist Bill Wyman. Produced by Don Was, the album became their highest-charting album in the U.S. after 1981's Tattoo You, peaking at number two. The album featured the singles "Love Is Strong" and "You Got Me Rocking," both of which also peaked at number two on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart.
