This past Sunday, The Rolling Stones took the stage in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and for the first time on their '24 Tour, they rocked four songs from their new album, "Hackney Diamonds." The usual setlist was expanded to include the live debut of Keith Richards' song from the album, "Tell Me Straight."
Richards revealed why "Tell Me Straight" holds a special place in his heart. He said, "I wrote it and I'm singing it. In fact, Mick tried to steal it from me, but, uh uh pal, 'This one's mine.'" he said. The other three songs they've been performing from the album are "Angry," "Whole Wide World," and "Sweet Sounds of Heaven," with "Mess it Up" appearing at four of the seven shows.
Sunday's show also saw the tour debuts of "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)," and "Midnight Rambler."
