Heart have announced the cancellation of their much-anticipated European tour. The band's decision comes due to Ann Wilson's health.
Ann will undergo a medical procedure that requires at least six weeks of recovery. In a statement released by the group, they express deep regret over the situation and their eagerness to reschedule the European dates.
Ann is 73 but remains a powerhouse of vocal talent and an enduring presence in music. The band's last performance took place in Atlantic City on a recent Friday, setting the stage for what was to be a summer filled with live music and performances across Europe, starting June 20th in Belgium with Squeeze as the opening act.
Looking ahead, Heart's next scheduled performance is set for July 30th in Cleveland at Progressive Field, where they will share the stage with Def Leppard and Journey.
