The Scorpions are set to share their journey with the world through a new bio-pic. The film, aptly titled "Wind of Change", draws its name from their 1991 classic.
The project is being led by acclaimed director Alex Ranarivelo, recognized for his work on "American Wrestler: The Wizard". The production house behind the project is ESX Entertainment, known for their commitment to telling inspiring stories. ESX founder and president, Ali Afshar, shares a personal connection with the band, stating that The Scorpions' music not only changed his life but also saved it when his family fled Iran and came to the United States.
Production of "Wind of Change" is slated to start in Europe this year. With a planned release in 2025, the film will mark the band's 60th anniversary.
