Van Morrison will delight his fans with two new albums. The first, titled "Be Just and Fear Not: Live at Orangefield," is a live recording from 2014 and is slated for release on July 12th. This will be followed by "New Arrangements and Duets," scheduled for release on September 27th.
Morrison said that the upcoming album represents only a fraction of the vast amount of unreleased material he plans to unveil soon. He stated, "The album represents a small percentage of the huge amount of unreleased material we are hoping to roll out in the near future, rather than letting it gather dust in some archive.”
While specifics about the albums are still under wraps, it has been revealed that "New Arrangements and Duets" will feature big band tracks recorded in 2014. It will also include duets with Willie Nelson, Joss Stone, Curtis Stigers, and Kurt Elling, recorded between 2018 and 2019.
As a teaser, Morrison released a preview of the album with the song “Choppin Wood.”
