A piece of music history is set to be sold off as a pair of John Lennon's iconic tinted round glasses heads to auction. The glasses, which feature distinctive, blue-tinted lenses, were given by Lennon himself to a visitor at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in 1968.
Accompanying the glasses is a collection of photographs capturing The Beatles at the very same studios, offering a rare glimpse into the band's recording sessions. The auction, scheduled for July 31st, will take place at the Farleigh Golf Club in Surrey, England. The glasses, steeped in rock 'n' roll history, are expected to fetch just under $4000.
