At 75, Stevie Wonder is showing no signs of slowing down. While many artists his age are announcing farewell tours or stepping away from the spotlight, Stevie Wonder is doing the opposite. In a recent interview with the BBC’s ‘Sidetracked,’ he made it clear that retirement isn’t in his vocabulary. “For as long as you breathe, for as long as your heart beats, there’s more for you to do,” he said. “I’m not gonna stop the gift that keeps pouring through my body.”
Stevie shared, “I love doing what I’m doing. An artist never stops drawing. As long as you can imagine is as long as you are going to be creative.” That creative fire has fueled a legendary career spanning decades, and it’s clear he still finds joy and purpose in performing and creating..
Stevie also confirmed he’s working on a new album, tentatively titled Through The Eyes Of Wonder. This would mark his first studio release since 2005’s A Time for Love.
