Go-Go's reunion--sort of

For those of us who grew up in the MTV era, The Go-Go's were a real part of the soundtrack of our lives. Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, and Gina Schock are teaming up once again for a special performance. Simply billed as The Go's, the trio will take the stage at the Rock and Roll Carnival on August 25th in Los Angeles. It’s not exactly a full Go-Go’s reunion, but it’s close enough to get the band’s fans nostalgic for the 80’s.

Meanwhile, ex Go-Go lead singer Belinda Carlisle is making waves of her own with a new release from her upcoming covers album, Once Upon a Time in California, which will drop August 29th. Her new video is for her remake of the song “One,” originally penned by Harry Nilsson and released by Three Dog Night. The video is up now on YouTube.
