Fleetwood Mac is proving once again that great music is never forgotten. The legendary band's Greatest Hits collection, originally released in 1988, is back in a big way after a digital reissue added long-time fan favorites like “The Chain,” “Landslide,” “Silver Springs (Live),” and “You Make Loving Fun.”
The renewed interest has pushed Greatest Hits all the way up to #10 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart. That’s significant because its previous peak was #13 on the chart back in 2016. The album also made a tremendous leap on the Billboard 200, jumping from #69 to #13.
The iconic album is also surging on other charts, including #5 on the Vinyl Albums chart, #4 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart and now at #3 on the Top Rock Albums chart. Fleetwood Mac is still one of the most listened to rock ‘n roll acts of all time. Younger fans have really helped propel the band's surge in popularity. More than five decades later, Fleetwood Mac's music is still a go-to for millions of people.
