Sting in Super Bowl talks

STING:  Big game tailgater?

Sting is reportedly headed to the Super Bowl -- as a performer, not a fan.

According to the New York Post, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is in talks to headline a multi-act tailgate gig before the big game on February 4th. A source tells the paper that the show wouldn't take place in the actual parking lot outside Minneapolis's U.S. Bank Stadium, where Super Bowl 52 will be held, but at a "nearby location." Sting would play last, and would perform one song with recent collaborator Shaggy.

He'd join an already-impressive gameday guest list, including halftime performer Justin Timberlake, national anthem singer Pink and Hamilton star Leslie Odom Junior, who'll sing “America the Beautiful.”
