Taylor Dayne talks about her kids and new music

Taylor Dayne says she is one very proud mom because her twins Astaria and Levi have just graduated high school in Los Angeles.

The kids recall their experience "a very difficult... Very challenging" time with "drive-by sort of graduations," she says her daughter and son now have to make "virtual decisions about colleges" with campuses that are still closed.

During a recent Australian TV interview reposted to Facebook Watch, Taylor expressed a lot of pride about her kids.

"My one son is drawn to real estate and stocks. He really loves to trade. He's already trading online. My daughter has the ability to be a hell of an actress, like one of the tops. So I hope they pursue it with same type of passion and the... commitment that I know it takes to do that with your dreams. And it takes a lot of effort; it's a lot of hard work. But, with anything, that the payoff is your heart and soul is in it and everybody wins."

The 80’s icon also has new single "Please" which will be released on July 8th.

Taylor referenced her classics while plugging her new single in a recent interview. She said,

"Listen, when you think of Taylor Dayne, maybe you think of 'Love Will Lead You Back,' maybe you think of 'Tell it to My Heart,' maybe you think of [sings] 'Honey, I'll be...' 'Shelter.' But this song from me, 'Please,' it's a summer song."
