Matthew Perry's mother, Suzanne Morrison, believes that her son had a feeling that something was off shortly before he passed away last October.

The matriarch recently appeared on the "Today" show as part of an upcoming special, slated for release on the anniversary of Perry's tragic death (October 28), to delve into ominous conversations they shared leading up to that fatal day.

"He went through a period, interestingly enough, just before he died when he was showing me one of his new houses. He came up to me, and he said, 'I love you so much, and I’m so happy to be with you now.' … It was almost as though it was a premonition or something."

Morrison didn't initially reflect on the conversation, but later thought: "How long has it been since we’ve had a conversation like that? It’s been years."

She continued:

"I think there was something; there was an inevitability to what was going to happen next to him, and he felt it very strongly. But he said, 'I’m not frightened anymore,' and it worried me."

The Friends alum passed away in his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023, due to the acute effects of ketamine among other contributing health factors. He was 54-years-old.
