  Cars 'n Cans Cruise Night with BIG 95 LIVE

When:    Saturday evening, November 3rd - starting at 6pm

Where:   Church of the Open Door (I-35 & Lakeshore)

Details:   BIG 95 KBGO is teaming up with the Corridor Cruisers for another season of Cruise Nights!  

THIS WILL BE THE FINAL CRUISE NIGHT OF THE SEASON.  We're asking everyone to bring donations of canned goods, non-perishable food items or monetary donations to benefit the food pantry at the Church of the Open Door.  

We're accepting donations by box, sacks, pallets or truck loads -- as much as you can bring to help our neighbors in need in McLennan County through the Church of the Open Door.  

There'll be dozens and dozens of automobiles and bikes on display in the parking lot at the Church of the Open Door.  All makes and models are welcome at Cruise Night.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP BBQ COOKOFF CAR SHOW - MERIDIAN

When:  Saturday, October 27th 

Where:  Square in downtown Meridian (location moved due to recent rains in Bosque County)

Details:  BIG 95 KBGO is proud to sponsor the National Championship BBQ Cookoff Car Show again this year in Meridian.  The car show is open to all makes and models of cars, trucks, motorcycles and scooters. 

Awards will be presented in several classes along with specialty awards.  Complete details and entry information are coming soon.  Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 27th.  BIG 95 KBGO will broadcast live from the National Championship BBQ Cookoff car show that day.

CRUISIN’ FOR A CURE BENEFIT FOR ROSEMARY TRUJILLO

When:  Saturday, November 3rd from 9am to 3pm

Where:  Karem Kamp at 400 Karem Circle (on Hwy 185 between Hwy 6 & China Spring Road)

Details:  Entry fee is $20.  The show is open to all makes and models of cars, trucks, motorcycles and scooters.  Registration includes one BBQ plate dinner per vehicle.  Extra plates will be available for $30 each (includes drink).  There'll also be a 50/50 drawing.  

Proceeds from Cruisin' For A Cure will benefit Rosemary Trujillo as she battles cancer.  Rosemary and her husband Raymond Trujillo and their daughter Renee have organized many car show benefits to help many others in Central Texas and now it's time to come together and help the Trujillo family in their time of need.

Awards will be presented to "Rosemary's Top 30" picks.  There will also be specialty awards presented that day.  For more information, contact Robert Vasquez at (512) 627-1886 or Renee Trujillo at (254) 366-6044.

Bellmead Community Association  - Honey Festival Car Show

When:  Saturday, November 8th 

Where:  Brame Park, Hogan Lane in Bellmead

Details:  You can register on site.  Registration fee is $20 per vehicle.  Car show is open to all makes and models.  All cars need to be in place by 11:30 am.  Proceeds will benefit the opening of a Bellmead library. Awards will be presented, including Top 20 People's Choice Award, Bellmead City Award and "Smoking Hot" Award.

LCC Fast & Classic Car Show - Austin

When:  November 11th from 1pm to 5pm after the Veterans Day Parade

Where:  15th & Congress in Austin

Details:  

All car show, muttiple catagories for different brands and classes of cars & trucks. People's choice voting. Trophies will be awarded. Club members and non-members will be awarded separate trophies to be more fair.

Event is rain or shine.  Free to spectators.  Net proceeds to charity (Texas Humane Heroes & Veteran's Day Parade Foundation).  Porta-potties will be provided.  We are working on getting a food truck there. 

Texas Chili Parlor is about 1 block away and a few other restaurants are within walking distance.

Waco Classic Rides Club Cruise-In

When:  Third Saturday of every month from 6pm-9pm

Where:  Kim's Diner at 2600 W. Waco Drive (corner of 26th & Waco Drive)

Details:  It's an evening of Show and Shine, fun and sharing.  FREE admission for car owners and spectators.  Waco Classic Ride's Motto: Church, Family, Job, Car Club.  

 

Sizzlin' Summer Cruise 'N'

When:  Every third Saturday from 3pm to 8pm during the summer

Where:  207 Sun Valley Road in Hewitt

Details:  All makes and models welcome at this "cruise-in" style event.  There will be music, a 50/50 and $5 t-shirts.  For more information, contact David at (214)218-8903
