  Cruise Night returns in 2018 with BIG 95 LIVE

When:  Saturday evening, May 5th - starting at 6pm

Where: Church of the Open Door (I-35 & Lakeshore)

Details:  BIG 95 KBGO is teaming up with the Corridor Cruisers for another season of Cruise Nights!  

FREE ADMISSION for car owners and spectators.   

There'll be dozens and dozens of automobiles and bikes on display in the parking lot at the Church of the Open Door.  All makes and models are welcome at Cruise Night.

St. Mary's Parish Festival Rod & Custom Show

When:  Sunday, April 22nd from 9am-1:30pm

Where:  Geneva Hall in Elm Mott

Details:  All hot-rodder's are invited.  Entry fee is $30.  First 50 entries will receive a goody bag, t-shirt, plaque and meal.  Festival activities include chicken and sausage meal for $10.  There will be a live and silent auction, kids booths and play area, White Elephant booth, country store and garden shop.  For more information, call (254)753-0146 or log on

SPJST Car Show & Czech Heritage Celebration

When:  Saturday, May 5th from 8am to 2:30pm

Where:  Seaton Star Hall, 10842 State Highway 53 (7 miles east of Temple)

Details:   The 13th Annual SPJST Car Show and Czech Heritage Celebration is Saturday, May 5, 2018, at SPJST Lodge 47, Seaton Star Hall. Star Hall is located at 10842 State Highway 53, which is seven miles east of Temple in the community of Seaton. The event is open to the public, and no admission will be charged.

All cars are welcome! Car show registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 10 a.m. Judging begins at 10:30 a.m., and awards are at 2:30 p.m. First, second, and third place trophies will be awarded in 40 independently judged classes. Many other awards! To enter a car in the show, the fee is $25 per vehicle if registered by April 30. After April 30 and day of show registration is $30. The first 150 entries will receive tee-shirts and goodie bags. Online registration is available at

A variety of vendor booths will display arts and crafts, services, auto-related products, and farmers’ market items. The day will also include a silent auction and a 50-50 drawing. The silent auction will close at 2 p.m., and the drawing will be held prior to the awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Czech Heritage Museum volunteers will have special displays like sauerkraut-making, lace-making, cordage-making, and accordion music. Jerry Haisler, Billy Havlik, and Friends will provide polka and variety music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. SPJST District Two Beseda Dancers will perform at 2 p.m.

Lodge 47, Seaton Youth Club will host the Kids’ Zone. Activities include carnival games, bounce house, crafts, hay ride, and other activities. Food and beverages will be available from Lodge 47, Seaton.

The event supports The SPJST Foundation 501(c)(3).

Waco Missions Cinco de Mayo Car & Bike Show

When:  Saturday, May 5th from 8am to 4pm

Where:  Waco Missions Club, 3316 Flewellen Road in Waco

Details:  Waco Missions Inc. invites you to the Cinco de Mayo Car & Bike Show.  The show is open to all makes and models.  Registration is 8am to 11am.  The show is Noon to 4pm.  Entry fee is $20 per car or bike.  

Awards will be presented to over 10 classes and Best of Show.  Admission is free for spectators.  There will be live music that evening featuring Los Roachez from 8pm to Midnight ($6 admission that evening).  For more information, contact Ernest Montelongo at (254)717-5314. 

3rd Annual Nacho Daddy Car Show

When:  Saturday, May 12th from 5:30pm to 9pm 

Where:  Warren Park in Hewitt

Details:  Pre-registration is $20, registration on the day of the show is $30.  Car show gates open at 3:30pm.  Judging begins at 5:30 pm.  The awards ceremony is at 8:15 pm.  Classes include GM, Ford, Chrysler, Open Class, Rat Rods, Antiques (Pre-1950) and Trucks.  A panel of judges will select the 1st and 2nd place winners in each category, and the Best of Show winner will be selected based on 50% by judges vote and 50% by participant votes.

Marlin Lions Club Car & Motorcycle Show

When:  Saturday, June 9th 

Where:  Square in downtown Marlin.  Show is open to all makes and models.  Pre-registration fee is $20.  Day of show registration fee is $25.  Online registration is available at  There'll be prizes, a 50/50 drawing, plaques and more.  Proceeds benefit the Lions Club in Marlin.  For more information, contact David Lawson at (254)803-2490 or (254)405-4465.

Hillsboro Elm Street Rod Run

When:  Saturday, June 23rd

Where:  Historic downtown Hillsboro

Details:  Gates open at 10am on Saturday.  Show and Shine is 10am to 2pm.  Pre-entry fee is $25.  Entry fee the day of the show is $30.  Show is open to rods, customs, classics, trucks, bikes, rats.  All makes and models are welcome.  Free t-shirts for first 200 entrants and passes to Roadside America.  

Event is rain or shine (no rain dates).  Trophies go to the Top 25.  Awards will be presented at 2:30pm.  Come early for a Friday night "cruise-in" on June 22nd at 7:30pm.  Brandy Roberts will perform in the style of Jerry Lee Lewis.  For more information, contact Carroll Estes at (972)291-2958 or email

Waco Classic Rides Club Cruise-In

When:  Third Saturday of every month from 6pm-9pm

Where:  Kim's Diner at 2600 W. Waco Drive (corner of 26th & Waco Drive)

Details:  It's an evening of Show and Shine, fun and sharing.  FREE admission for car owners and spectators.  Waco Classic Ride's Motto: Church, Family, Job, Car Club.  


Sizzlin' Summer Cruise 'N'

When:  Every third Saturday from 3pm to 8pm during the summer

Where:  207 Sun Valley Road in Hewitt
