Several well-known musical superstars donated items for last Saturday's British charity auction benefiting Scrubs Glorious Scrubs, a volunteer sewing collective making protective gowns for healthcare workers.
Here’s a look at some of the items:
- Bono’s handwritten lyrics for U2's "One" brought in an impressive $43,000.
- Rod Stewart’s Cartier watch went for $21,000.
- Geri Halliwell's Tag Heuer watch worn during the Spice Girls reunion tour was snapped up for $9600.
- Stewart was also tied to the highest priced premium -- lunch with an all-star contingent of British celebs, including Rod, his wife Penny and ITV This Morning host Holly Willoughy. It fetched a stunning $123,000.
Taylor Swift, Jon Bon Jovi and Will Smith also sent along personal items for the sale, which raised more than $1.2 million overall.
