Roger Waters is giving his many fans a chance to relive his 2017 “Us + Them” tour, which was his first in four years, according to Rolling Stone. The legendary Pink Floyd co-founder has announced a new concert film, “Roger Waters: Us + Them,” premiering on June 16th.
The film was co-directed by Waters and Sean Evans, the film was shot at Waters’ shows in Amsterdam and the United Kingdom. While onstage, he played a bunch of songs from classic Floyd albums like “The Dark Side of the Moon,” “Wish You Were Here,” “The Wall” and even the rarely performed “Animals.” The digital version of the movie will include two extra tracks, “Comfortably Numb” and Waters’ solo song “Smell The Roses.”
The concert film announcement comes only days after Waters uploaded a video to social media taking former bandmate David Gilmour to taskfor “banning” him from promoting his solo projects on Pink Floyd’s web pages. At last check, Pink Floyd’s website and social media weren’t promoting Waters’ upcoming concert film.
