Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were the big musical guests on Saturday Night Live this weekend. They performed "Ghosts" and "I'll See You in My Dreams" off the new album Letter to You.
E Street Band members Garry Tallent and Soozie Tyrell weren't with the band for the appearance, due to COVID-19 fears. Tallent later tweeted that he doesn’t "have the Vid and intend[s] to avoid catching it." He also added that people should, "Stay safe and weigh the risk/benefit for whatever you do," and that he, "personally felt that a two song TV appearance was not worth a week long stay in [New York City]."
Tallent’s daughter Olivia concurred. She tweeted, "Really missed watching Dad tonight on SNL, but so proud of his decision to remain in quarantine and do what’s safest for him."
