Meat Loaf is busy these days working up a television competition show based on his 1993 classic “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That).)The song’s title seems to lend itself to such a venture and Meat is ready to get started.
The music icon has partnered with Nobody’s Hero, the production company that produced the Netflix competition series Nailed It!.
The premise has couples competing in several different physical games which are designed to determine how well they actually work together and trust one another. The couple winning two rounds will then advance to what they’re calling the “Endgame.” Their trust in one another will then undergo the “ultimate challenge.”
The games will be played along to what Deadline went on to say a "soundtrack of classic hits, performed live in studio by the original artists as well as new stars" will be featured during each competition.
The show’s premise is being pitched.
