Carlos Santana is set to release a new album, ‘Blessings and Miracles,’ right before he returns to Las Vegas for his residency this August.
Per his usual format, Santana’s new album will contain collaborations with artists like Chris Stapleton, Metallica's Kirk Hammett, Rob Thomas (who appeared with Carlos on 1999's Supernatural ) along with Steve Winwood on a cover version of Procol Harum's classic "A Whiter Shade of Pale."
In a recent interview the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Carlos talked about returning to his residency. The superstar says, “I feel really excited. Some albums, like Abraxas and Supernatural, you can just see them stick out of time and gravity. This album is like that. It’s because we’ve been marinating and just simmering. The notes are really juicy.”
