Foreigner, Pat Benatar and Sammy Hagar are the latest artists to take extra precautions to keep their tours on track as the nation continues to deal with the latest Covid-19 surge.
Foreigner have issued a statement asking fans to consider wearing masks to their shows. The statement says, "We just wanted to let you know we are a traveling entourage of over 20 people... We have much more interaction with people every day than most. Because of this, we are trying to maintain the tightest COVID safeguards for us, our crew and all of you. We are asking for your help with this.”
The statement goes on to say, "If at all possible we would love you to wear a mask at our shows. This isn't a demand, we are just trying to do all we can to stay on the road and be healthy... We respect that and want you to follow what you think is right. No judgment, we love you guys! Let’s rock out there! Thank you!"
Benatar says, "We are a fully vaccinated band and touring crew, and we are excited to safely get back out there and see you all again.
"We will be following CDC guidelines and state mandates as we tour...”
Pat’s statement also says, "We encourage everyone to wear masks, consider the personal health of yourself and others, and take all necessary precautions, so we can come together and rock!"
Sammy Hagar has also implemented several safety protocols for his ‘Birthday Bash’ at California’s Catalina Island on October 7th, 8th and 9th.Sammy says, "We are following the lead of the major music and live entertainment companies and are requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination at the Birthday Bash shows. Children under 12 will not be admitted, and masks will be required to be worn by all individuals."
