Ronnie Spector spent several weeks before her passing last week updating her autobiography. The newly revised version of ‘Be My Baby: How I Survived Mascara, Miniskirts and Madness’ will be released on May 3rd.
Editor Sarah Crichton told Rolling Stone, “She knew that she was sick and I knew that she was sick, but she was being discreet about it. She was thinking that things would go well. She had a lot of dreams, and we had a lot of dreams.”
Despite being ill, Ronnie did have plans for a book tour before she passed away. Ronnie died on January 12th after at age 78 after a brief battle with cancer.
