Rod Stewart has gone back into the studio three months after the release of his 32nd album, ‘The Tears of Hercules.’
Rod is in England working on an album of jazz, blues and R&B standards with piano player Jools Holland, bass player Dave Swift and producer Nitin Sawhney. Stewart says he wants the new album to have an "earthy, gritty vibe, nothing too cabaret sounding!"
This will be Rod’s first album of covers since ‘Merry Christmas, Baby’ back in 2012. Rod Stewart will start his upcoming tour with special guest Cheap Trick on July 1st in Fort Worth.
