The Who are headed back to the U.S. to tour this year, including shows in Austin, Dallas and The Woodlands.
The group will appear April 20th at Jazz Fest in New Orleans, followed by 14 arena and amphitheater shows through late May, and then in October and November.‘The Who Hits Back!’ tour starts April 22nd in Hollywood, Florida. It will include stops at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on May 2nd, Moody Center in Austin on May 3rd and the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, near Houston on May 8th.
Pete Townshend stressed to Rolling Stone that this is not a farewell tour. He said, "Roger [Daltrey] is of the opinion that he wants to sing until he drops. That’s not my philosophy of life. There are other things that I want to do, still want to do, and will do, I hope. I hope I’ll live long enough to do them. But it’s not a farewell tour. “
