80s acts Soft Cell and Pet Shop Boys have just teamed up for a new song. The iconic groups have released the new collaboration “Purple Zone,” which will be featured on Soft Cell’s upcoming album Happiness Not Included.
Soft Cell’s Marc Almond said, “Working with the Pet Shop Boys was a pleasure, and this track is the perfect combination of us and them.” Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe commented, “We are thrilled to collaborate with such an inspirational duo as Soft Cell on this gorgeous song.”
Happiness Not Included is Soft Cell’s first new album in 20 years. It will be released on May 6th.The video for the song “Purple Zone” is available on YouTube.
