Ann Wilson has just released her cover of Queen’s classic “Love of My Life” from her upcoming album, Fierce Bliss, which will be released on April 29th.
Ann is being joined on the song by current Eagles member Vince Gill.
Ann said, “I had the idea for the song as a duet, so I just tried to picture who would be ‘the male angel’ that would sing the other part of it. I thought how great the song would be if it was stripped down and just sung with soul, and it had to be Vince Gill because he’s got that voice, that soul.”
She added, "It was my honor to duet with him; an unforgettable experience for which I’m grateful!” "Love of My Life" was written by Freddie Mercury and it was featured on Queen's fourth album, A Night at the Opera, in 1975.
Ann will tour this year support of Fierce Bliss beginning on May 4th at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
