David Crosby's touring days may not be behind him after all.
The rock ‘n roll legend was recently asked by a journalism student in Golden, Colorado if he planned to “tour anymore,” Crosby replied, “ “No. I’m not, because I’m 80. It’s because I’m old. Being on a bus tour is a daunting task. It’s very hard. It takes it out of you.”
He later tweeted, "There’s always the chance that I’m lying about this."
Crosby, who has been outspoken about not touring during the pandemic, said, “Believe me, I want to play so badly I can taste it. But I think the people going out now are making a bad mistake. These gigantic, indoor, maskless, jammed together, face-to-face shows are dangerous. Yes, folks are desperate for money, but these are spreader events.”
Crosby has tendonitis in both hands which affects his guitar playing ability. Because of that, David said he knows he doesn’t have many shows left. Crosby’s new album is on the way, so he there's a chance he'll want to get out there and do a few shows to promote it.
