Chicago fans get ready. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group will be the subject of an upcoming documentary.
The band's show from March 14th, 2020 in Las Vegas was one of the last to be performed by a major act as the covid pandemic was beginning to take hold. The Last Band on Stage takes a look at how Chicago survived intact through the pandemic.
Director Peter Curtis Pardini said, "Chicago has faced many obstacles in lasting 55 years, but the pandemic was possibly their greatest challenge. I’m excited for people to see the story of how they got back to the stage to continue performing.”
The documentary will be narrated by actor and longtime Chicago friend Joe Mantegna, The Last Band on Stage will come to theaters and on Video On Demand on September 30th.
Chicago will resume touring August 28th with a show in Vancouver.
