Duran Duran performed a rooftop show in Beverly Hills earlier this year, and the show will be featured as part of an upcoming 75-minute “docu-concert.”
“A Hollywood High” will be released in theaters November 3rd. The film features footage of the concert, along with interviews and archival footage centered on the group’s relationship with the L.A. area.
John Taylor said, “Duran Duran have had an enduring relationship with the city of Los Angeles since the first time we came to America.” He added, “We were determined to do something unique to celebrate our four decades together,” noting, “A rooftop performance in LA with the Capitol Records building across the street and the Hollywood sign looming in the distance sounded perfect and turned out to be an extraordinary night for all of us.”
A special premiere for the film will be held on October 27th at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Duran Duran will be in attendance. A London premiere is scheduled for November 1st at the Vue West End, in Leicester Square.
