Sheryl Crow was inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame last Thursday night. Sheryl celebrated with her good friends Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, Lucius and Brittany Spencer.
Sheryl was inducted alongside Texas Troubadour and onetime Clash touring partner Joe Ely, who performed with his sometime bandmates in The Flatlanders, Jimmy Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock, at the big ceremony.
In a tweet, Crow talked about the night, saying it "one of the best" of her life, surrounded by people she "love[s] and admires." The show will air on PBS on January 7th.
Previewing the show, Sheryl sent a follow-up tweet, "You’re going to lose it when you hear Jason Isbell on 'Run Baby Run!' It killed! Then, "Brandi Carlile's 'If It Makes You Happy' was incredible" and Brittany Spencer sang the [crap] out of 'My Favorite Mistake!' We missed Holly [Laessig, of Lucius], but getting to sing 'Strong Enough' with Jess [Wolfe] of Lucius was so moving!"
