Linda Ronstadt is no longer able sing. The star’s vocals are affected by having the Parkinson’s-like disorder called progressive supranuclear palsy. Linda still loves to have music in her life.
Ronstadt was on the “Today Show,” and said, “I can sing in my brain.” Linda added, “It’s not quite the same.”
Ronstadt indicated that she doesn’t really have control over what she sings. She said, "Sometimes, I choose the song, and sometimes my brain chooses the song," she says, adding, "My brain chooses the worst music. It just blares away in my head, like really bad Christmas carols."
