George Michael's family has a message for his legions of fans – please stay away from the late singer's grave.
For the past couple of years, George Michael’s fans have been leaving tributes at London's Highgate Cemetery, where he's buried alongside his mother and sister. Recently, however, signs have gone up saying “This is a private grave. Anything placed here will be removed and disposed of.” There's also a warning that photography is not allowed.
The family left Michael's grave completely unmarked for five years. They waited until 2021 to install a rectangular marble slab inscribed with “Beloved Son, Brother, Friend." (Daily Star)
