Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles is set to release another album of covers on April 7th.
The Deep End was produced by Peter Asher. It is the follow-up to her first solo covers album, Bright Lights in 2021. Hoffs has covered classics, including "You Don’t Own Me" by Leslie Gore, "Only You" by Yaz, "Black Coffee in bed" from Squeeze, "When the Party’s Over" by Billie Eilish and "Afterglow" by Ed Sheeran.
The first single is a Hoff’s version of The Rolling Stones classic "Under My Thumb". Susanna has shared two versions of it with her fans -- a straightforward take and a dancy remix.
Both versions are now out on YouTube.
