Bonnie Raitt has had to cancel an appearance and reschedule four others after what her team called a "medical situation that requires surgery to address."
Doctors said Bonnie will need a couple of weeks to heal properly, so she'll miss her scheduled May 14th performance at Brandi Carlile's Mothership Weekend in Miramar Beach, Florida and has postponed shows in Athens, Georgia; Louisville; Indianapolis and Pittsburgh, with Louisville now set for June 30th and Indianapolis for July 1st. The rescheduled Athens and Pittsburgh dates are still to be determined. Tickets for all four shows will be valid for the make-up dates.
Raitt’s team apologized to fans for the "delay and inconvenience." Her tour will now kick off in Dublin, Ireland on June 1st.
