Priscilla Presley reached a settlement with her granddaughter, Riley Keough, over the handling of her late daughter and Riley's mom Lisa Marie's trust.
Priscilla's request to be buried next to her only daughter and late ex-husband, Elvis Presley, at Graceland has been denied. Priscilla says, "Although I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon, it is my family’s and my wish for me to be laid to rest with my daughter and the love of my life when that time comes. We appreciate the love from all of the fans.”
Lisa Marie is buried alongside her father, Elvis’ parents and Lisa Marie's son, Benjamin Storm Keough. Priscilla is said to have received millions in the settlement along with a stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises. Her lawyer, Ronsen Shamoon, says, “Everyone is happy. Unified and together and excited for the future.”
People quotes a source that says, "Riley is relieved to have settled the dispute over her mom’s estate. She doesn’t want any drama with her grandmother. She was hoping they could reach a settlement quickly.”
The source adds, “Riley is still grieving her mom. It’s been very tough for her. She wants to focus on making memories with her own daughter now. This is her priority.”
Lisa Marie died of a heart attack on January 12th at age 54. She is survived by her three daughters -- Riley, and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood.
