Back in April, the Kramer "Frankenstrat" guitar Eddie Van Halen played in the 1984 video for Van Halen’s classic "Hot for Teacher" sold at auction for $3,932,000. It was one of the 10 most expensive guitars ever auctioned.
A scaled down version of the unplayable guitar "played" by actor Bryan Hitchcock as “young Eddie” in that video is on sale on eBay for $150,000.It was signed by Eddie and includes the outfit Hitchcock wore, several photos taken from the day of filming, an original script for the music video, and a few more items.
Hitchcock sold the items at auction back in 2020 to the current owner, who had previously tried to sell the lot for $100,000 to the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas on Pawn Stars, but the shop's Corey Harrison only offered $30,000.
