Fans are waiting to see if the ‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ documentary ever happens. Now, an unauthorized virtual exhibit of photographs, ‘The Led Zeppelin Exhibition,’ will be made available on the digital collectables app Quidd today.
Quidd allows users to purchase virtual collectables that physically do not exist. They can be bought and resold for actual money. Some items in the app can be converted over to NFTs -- Non-Fungible Tokens.
According to Quidd’s Twitter account, this exhibition will also include “a chance to win real Led Zeppelin memorabilia.” No word from the iconic band regarding the sale, despite owning the trademark to "Led Zeppelin Experience." Back in 2018, Zep considered staging their own exhibition, similar to others from The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and David Bowie.
