Cher has just sold her recordings, including those she did with her late ex-husband Sonny Bono, to her longtime friend and Eagles' manager Irving Azoff's Iconic Artists Group.
There are plans for a 25th anniversary edition box set celebrating her 1998 number-#1 hit “Believe” and the album it was on with the same name.
Cher says she also wants to compile a box set of some of her lesser-known songs, including those that were dance hits such as “Song for the Lonely” and “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me.” However, Cher is not planning a tour anytime soon.
Iconic Artists Group owns interests in catalogs of the late Joe Cocker, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin and David Crosby, as well as Stephen Stills, Linda Ronstadt, and a controlling interest in The Beach Boys’ catalog.
