The King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley, is set to make a sensational return, not in the flesh, but as a cutting-edge avatar in the upcoming show "Elvis Evolution." Scheduled to debut in London this November, the show promises to be an immersive journey through the life and legacy of Elvis, complete with a world tour that includes glamorous stops in Las Vegas, Berlin, and Tokyo.
Produced by Layered Reality in partnership with the Presley estate, "Elvis Evolution" aims to offer fans an intimate look at the icon's life. Layered Reality's CEO, Andrew McGuinness, teases an experience that will allow audiences to "really understand what Elvis went through during his life," thanks to the incorporation of thousands of Elvis's personal photos and home video clips.
The show's climax promises to be a breathtaking spectacle, featuring a life-sized Elvis avatar powered by artificial intelligence, performing some of his greatest hits in a grand finale. But the excitement doesn't end there; following the show, fans can continue to celebrate at the London venue's Elvis-themed restaurant and bar. The after-party will feature live music, DJs, and performances, ensuring the spirit of Elvis rocks on into the night.
"Elvis Evolution" marks the second avatar show in London, following the successful launch of ABBA's "Voyage" in 2022. KISS are also planning to unveil their own avatar show in 2027 and Mick Jagger has expressed interest in a potential Rolling Stones avatar project as well.
