When KISS concluded their "End of the Road" tour on December 2nd in New York, they surprised fans with the announcement that they would continue their journey as avatars.
The video they showcased that night at Madison Square Garden, however, was met with skepticism and raised eyebrows. Despite the criticism, Paul Stanley addressed these concerns on The Allison Hagendorf Show, assuring fans that what they saw was merely the infancy of the avatars.
Stanley emphasized that the avatars will evolve to be "mind-bogglingly realistic" and will look nothing like their initial presentation. The goal, he explained, is not to replicate a KISS concert, but to create a unique experience that combines elements of KISS, Cirque du Soleil, and more, all amplified to an extraordinary level.
Slated to open in 2027, the show is being produced by Pophouse, the company behind the ABBA Voyage show in London.
