Motley Crue not returning to the studio anytime soon

Motley Crue, with a few singles already recorded, has no immediate plans to hit the studio again. Nikki Sixx, in a conversation with Metal XS, explains the band's current stance. "I live in Wyoming and Vince [Neil] lives in Tennessee, two guys in California, so I don't actually see a reason right now to go in the studio," he says.

With two more singles ready for release and a busy schedule filled with touring and family commitments, the band is in no rush to record. Sixx emphasizes the importance of having a reason or inspiration to go into the studio, and notes that the time will come again, but there's no urgency.

The band is set to play at various festivals this year, but as of now, they have nothing planned for 2025. Despite this, Sixx assures fans that the band will come up with something exciting. "I'm sure we'll come up with something fun to do and make sure that we're there for the fans," he says. He also expresses his satisfaction with the current pace of work, which he finds enjoyable and far from exhausting. This is a refreshing change from the past when the band felt burnt out due to excessive touring.

Motley Crue's latest song, "Dogs of War," was released in April. The band's approach to making music when they feel inspired and doing shows when they feel like it, suggests a more relaxed and organic creative process.
