Cher has a big plan to make 2024 a landmark year in her illustrious career. The year will be marked by significant milestones, including her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on October 19th and the release of her memoir, "Cher: The Memoir, Part One" on November 19th. However, before these events, she will release a career-spanning album.
The album, titled "Cher Forever," will be released on September 20th. It will feature 21 remastered tracks handpicked by Cher herself. The collection includes some of her biggest hits such as “Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves,” “Dark Lady,” “Believe,” “If I Could Turn Back Time,” “Strong Enough,” “The Shoop Shoop Song (It’s In His Kiss)” and “I Found Someone.” This album is a testament to Cher's enduring appeal and her ability to captivate audiences with her music.
"Cher Forever" will be available in various formats, including a two-LP set on crystal clear translucent vinyl and CD. A digital release, the "Forever Fan Edition," will also be released on the same day. This edition will contain an additional 19 songs, including Sonny and Cher's “The Beat Goes On” and “I Got You Babe,” “Just Like Jesse James,” “Welcome to Burlesque,” and “Move Me,” which features her late ex-husband, Gregg Allman. It will also include a live cover of U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and the newly released “A Woman’s Story,” which was previously only available as a 45-rpm single.
