A new Beatles documentary, Beatles ’64, is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 29th. Produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by David Tedeschi, the film looks back to the iconic band’s first visit to America. It features newly filmed interviews with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with stories from fans whose lives were transformed by The Beatles.
The documentary will also feature newly restored 4K footage captured by directors Albert and David Maysles in 1964. This includes performances from their first U.S. concert at the Washington, D.C. Coliseum and their legendary appearances on “The Ed Sullivan Show.”
The film’s audio has been meticulously demixed by WingNut Films and remixed by Giles Martin, giving fans a fresh and immersive experience for viewers. Beatles ’64 offers a unique glimpse into the early days of Beatlemania.
