Fleetwood Mac rumors are swirling

Following the death of Christine McVie in 2022, Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks have suggested that Fleetwood Mac is no more. However, recent activity on their social media platforms has fans speculating about a possible reunion. Over the weekend, the band launched a new Instagram page, which is currently set to private and followed by only eight people, including Mick and Stevie. Additionally, they have set up a TikTok page, although no content has been shared yet.

These developments have sparked excitement with one fan commenting, "It would be so amazing if this amounted to something like a reunion of the remaining four. Has John [McVie] been coaxed out of retirement? Have Stevie and Lindsey [Buckingham] buried the hatchet? One final public tribute to Christine [McVie] and then curtains?” The speculation is fueled by the hope that the band might come together for a tribute to Christine or perhaps even a reunion tour.

Despite the buzz, it is also possible that these social media pages are simply a way to celebrate the 45th anniversary of their 12th album, Tusk, released on October 12th, 1979. Fleetwood Mac last toured in 2019, with Neil Finn and Mike Campbell replacing Lindsey Buckingham, who was fired in 2018. While Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham are reportedly at peace and Mick is open to a reunion tour, Stevie Nicks apparently remains opposed to the idea.

We’ll keep you updated.
