An expanded version of Eric Clapton's iconic 1992 ‘MTV Unplugged’ performance is making its way to theaters. Titled Eric Clapton Unplugged … Over 30 Years Later, this special event will be shown in theaters on January 27th and 28th, before making its streaming debut on Paramount+ on February 12th.
The concert has been remixed in Dolby Atmos, remastered, and extended with discussions on specific songs, along with bonus performances that Clapton did before the audience arrived at Bray Studios in Windsor, England back in January 1992.
The original album, released in August 1992, was a big success, driven by the hit remake of "Layla." It sold an impressive 10 million copies and earned Clapton six Grammy Awards, including the coveted Album of the Year.
Tickets are available at ClaptonUnplugged.com.
