The Doobie Brothers release their new album 'Walk This Road' on June 6th

Hey, The Doobie Brothers fans! Following their recent induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the band has announced their new album, ‘Walk This Road,’ set to release on June 6th. The title track, featuring the legendary Mavis Staples, is already out and making waves. Tom Johnston shared his thoughts on the song, saying, "We all sang on [it]. That’s a different kind of track for us to do. I think it’s good to try to do things you haven’t done before, that’s the way it should be.”

This album marks a big reunion: it's the first time Michael McDonald has joined the band for new material since their 1980 album, ‘One Step Closer.’ McDonald expressed his joy about reuniting with the band, saying, “Getting back in with the guys and playing again is great. In my heart I’ve always been a Doobie Brother. We’ve all remained friends over the years. We’ve all been enjoying it tremendously, even more than we thought we would.”

Walk This Road features 10 tracks, with three already available: the title track, "Call Me," and "Lahaina." The complete track list includes “Angels & Mercy,” “Learn to Let Go,” “State of Grace,” “Here to Stay,” “The Kind That Lasts,” “New Orleans,” and “Speed of Pain.”
