Don Felder set to release a new album

Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder will release a new album in May, he's finally announced some exciting details. The album, titled The Vault - 50 Years of Music, is his fourth solo effort and is set to be released on May 23rd. Felder shared that the album features songs spanning his entire career, from his early days with the Eagles in 1974 to the present day.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Move On," a song that dates back to 1974 but never made it onto an Eagles album. Felder has also re-recorded "Heavy Metal," the iconic title track from the 1981 animated film. Among the newer songs is "I Like the Things You Do," which he wrote specifically for this album. The first single, "Free at Last," is already available on YouTube, giving fans a taste of what's to come.

Felder didn't work alone on this project; he enlisted the help of some renowned musicians. David Paich, Steve Lukather, Joseph Williams, and Greg Phillinganes from Toto contributed their talents, along with Styx drummer Todd Sucherman and Gregg Bissonette, who drums in Ringo Starr's All Starr Band. With such a stellar lineup, The Vault - 50 Years of Music promises to be a must-listen for fans of Felder and classic rock alike.
