Cheap Trick has a new album in the works, tentatively titled ‘All Washed Up.’ In a recent interview with Tampa Bay Music News, lead singer Robin Zander commented, "It’s pretty good. It’s Cheap Trick. It sounds like us. It’s got some good, bad and ugly on it just like our other records," he said, hinting at the familiar yet diverse sound that fans have come to love. Johnson, who has previously designed covers for two of the band's albums, is once again lending his artistic talents to this project.
The band's last album, In Another World, came out in 2021, and they haven't slowed down since. Robin Zander and his son, Robin Taylor Zander, who also plays in Cheap Trick, are nearing the completion of his second album. Meanwhile, Sailor Zander, Robin's daughter, is recording her first album at actor Johnny Depp's studio.
"Robin Taylor is helping produce it," Robin proudly mentioned. "She’s almost got a whole album…written anyway."
