Madonna's project will be developed from scratch for Netflix. This series is separate from the previously planned biopic, which had Julia Garner, a three-time Emmy winner, slated for the lead role. Julia Garner might still be involved in this new series. According to Deadline, Garner is keen on playing Madonna if her schedule permits. As for Madonna's role in the creation of the series, it's still up in the air. While she co-wrote the script for the proposed feature film, it's unclear if she will be contributing to the writing of the TV series.
