After more than eight years away from the studio, Belinda Carlisle is making a highly anticipated return with a brand-new album titled ‘Once Upon a Time in California,’ set to release on August 29th. This time around, the ex-Go Go is diving into a covers project, reimagining timeless classics with her signature voice and style. Expect Belinda’s renditions of Gordon Lightfoot’s “If You Could Read My Mind,” Three Dog Night’s “One,” Jim Croce’s “Time in a Bottle,” and The Carpenters’ “Superstar.”
The first taste of the album comes with her take on The Hollies’ “The Air That I Breathe,” which is already available to stream on YouTube.
