Cheap Trick is a phenomenal concert band, and they’ve just released the first of 11 new songs off their upcoming album, “All Washed Up.’ The first release is a synth-driven tune called "Twelve Gates" and it has a real retro vibe—recalling the sound of “Surrender and “Dream Police.” The band has dropped a new lyric video on YouTube.
In an interview with Tampa Bay Music News back in May, lead singer Robin Zander talked up the new album, saying, “It’s pretty good. It’s Cheap Trick. It sounds like us,” he said. “It’s got some good, bad and ugly on it just like our other records.”
All Washed Up is Cheap Trick’s 21st studio album and their first one since 2021’s In Another World. It’ll be released on November 14th.
