Heart’s Ann Wilson is stepping into the solo spotlight with a brand new documentary titled In My Voice. While Heart fans are waiting on the long-rumored biopic on Heart, this film offers something even more personal—Ann telling her story in her own words. From her childhood to her rise as a rock ‘n roll icon, the documentary features commentary from family, friends, fellow musicians, bandmates, and industry insiders, painting a vivid picture of her journey.
“This film is my story in my own words, told the way I’ve always wanted to tell it,” Ann shares. “It’s about finding my voice, keeping it alive, and sharing the journey with the people who’ve been part of it all along.” The teaser for In My Voice is already available on YouTube.
Meanwhile, Ann and Heart are wrapping up their summer tour with two final shows in New York State—Friday in Canandaigua and Saturday in Bethel, on the historic grounds of the original Woodstock festival. The band’s fall tour kicks off November 12th in Las Vegas.
